What if the guardian’s phone is dead?
Staff can look the pass up by the child’s name or the guardian’s number and confirm it with an OTP sent to the parent.
Does the school need new hardware?
No. Any Android phone at the gate runs the scanner, and it works offline, syncing the log when the connection returns.
Can a pass be forwarded to someone else?
It can be forwarded, but it will not pass the gate — the photo on the pass has to match the person standing there.
How does this relate to Zone Education?
